Day 2 - Joan on the buses & Noodle Markets

Chalk & I by the fountain in Hyde Park

Chalky invited me out early to work with him, 7.45am departure - I think not! Instead he was back at 10.30am for the homeward run.

Made a new friend with patient Suzie who is a strong contender for a Ruby Wax double, asked if I was Graham's sister so she's my first Australian friend for life!!

(Chalky says: shame Ruby Wax was never that funny but as Suzie is recovering from a hip operation she is still on drugs!!!)

Bek returned from work, freshened up and we headed out to Hyde Park for the Good Food Guide Noodle Market and art about exhibition. My first adventure on Sydney's double decker trains.

Tasting the noodles...

We walked from Hyde Park to Circular Quay and Opera House - Chalky was nearly adopted by the Japanese when they realised he was taking more photos than them! Bek & I got sick of smiling for him....anyone that knows Bek knows that this is very unusual!

Graham taking too long to get the picture leads us to distraction...and misbehaviour!

1 of the 7 Bridges I'm to cross this holiday - you may have seen it before...

PS - My Firsts for Today:
1st Aboriginal seen in Redfern (nothing like Neville from Crocodile Dundee)
1st Possum (complete with baby on back) spotted in Hyde Park! We couldn't get the camera out quick enough to get a photo and Graham wouldn't climb the tree after her!!

    Hi Joan

Welcome to Sunny Sydney. I hope you are being treated like a Queen and I really look forward to catching up with you soon (when you have a spare milisecond in your hectic schedule).

I now have a psychotic dog I would love to introduce to you as well.

    Love Karen.
