Day 4 - Manly Ferry Day at 35 degrees.

Well early start for day outing with Chalk, that means 2hrs later than expected! We took the train to the Ferry but of course we had to do some more walking so got off the train earlier than a sensible person would and had the delight of walking the Harbour Bridge just to make sure we felt the heat!

The ferry was very enjoyable, very busy and soon arrived at Manly, the chosen venue of the day. We waited a decent interval before lunch, well at least 4 minutes. The shops had a quick session and would you believe did not buy anything.

Afternoon on the beach watching the surfers then before leaving for home I had to experience a Hot Chocolate as never before. This was a do it yourself version over a tea-light, sounds strange but quite amusing.

Back home to Bek and Barbie( good night for Chalky then!!). Another really nice day, doing well to-day I may actually see 10.00pm. Hope you are all well, hope you are feeling better Lesley. Missing you all (yeah right!) kidding. J.

p.s. How dare i forget to tell you we had a shower to-day (NEW SHOWER!!!) and it ts of course the best one in the whole world. Actually it is quite fab, the first time i have said anyone has a better bathroom than me.
