Day 5 - Saturday .....Hit the Shops !!!

To-day was Chalk free day, girls' have got to do what girls' have got to do!

Bek's work colleagues had been concerned she did not have a dress for her brother's wedding and now only a week away, her reply to them "'I am not worried Joan Oldfield is coming to town". First shop, mission accomplished! Then some serious browsing with a FEW purchases. I have to say David Jones (to my friends back home, this is a store not a man) is a heavy time consumer.

Bek bought me lunch at The Rocks, very nice ,with of course usual fantastic view, Scorpians do like to be near water.

All good times have to come to an end, so we went to relax over a drink watching the bridge climbers return to base until our chauffeur collected us, we shouted him a drink!

Quick relax, shower and change and away to eat at a very nice Indian Restaurant which Bek had found. Small restaurant but we were favoured with a table near the window with a postcard view of the Bridge and the city all lit up in the night's sky, tremendous. A nightcap at one of Chalk and Bek's favourite bars then home to bed.

Early start in the morning to collect friends from the Airport, well no on second thoughts it doesn't need 3 of us, we will just let chalk go.
Another super day, love to all. Big kiss for ISLA.

Glad you got to the shops Joan. I was starting to get a bit worried. Thought you'd got some Ozzy illness. Sandra x

Glad to hear and see that you are having the great time I knew you would. Hang on to every day and soak up every moment, if you tire of Sydney you tire of life (Michael Parkinson). Jealous as hell and can't wait for my turn.

Senior moment, just read previous blogs and realised I keep repeating the same quote, might have to get a Shakletons high chair next.

sorry haven't put any comments on blog, my laptop won't let me, something to do with it being a company laptop and loads of things are barred. hmph.

anyway, the blog is absolutely fantastic. you've done AJ very proud. I check it at least once a day and it's great.

looks like you're all having an absolute blast.

send my love to Chalky and of course AJ.

all your hard work, organisation and new bathroom are well worth it.

happy weekend and lots of love xxxx
