Day 8 - Relax day with Margie and David

Breakfast in peace, workers gone! Collected at 11am by Margie and David, what a pity I didn't have time to iron.

First stop Koala Park, saw peacocks, kangaroos, cockatoos emu's and all sorts of creatures I either can't remember or can't spell. We had a lovely morning, the highlight was of course watching the Koalas been fed. This meant the unlucky one was awakened gently to sit on the fence to have his/her photograph taken with eager visitors (like me), the consolation prize was some fresh eucalyptus leaves. Perhaps not worth waking up for but 18 hours sleep should be enough (even for you Les.) They are just so cute, more than the cockatoo that kept shouting
Bye!

Quick stop at shops then on to Anthony Road, now this is an address I remember.
I thumbed my way thro' the photo albums, Bek and Ben have not changed at all, Travis, cheeky
face as ever, Margie a real Blonde stunner and the much younger David smiling on so proud of
his lovely family.

I visited the shop to see all the fish I have heard so much about then back for... well what else at Anthony Road, Champagne and of course and Margie's special Lamb dinner and Mango Mousse.
Shame I haven't even managed 4,000 steps to-day.

Make up for the steps another day. I agree with Lesley and Karen, compulsive reading on a daily basis, living your trip with you, you're going to need a rest after this holiday.

Looks as though you are having a great time Joan. I thought Chalky might have made you one of his famous Yorkshire Puddings in his new glass dish by now.(or maybe he has and it was so good you forgot to mention it) It seems as though you are doing plenty of walking. Like Garth says you'll probably need a rest when you get home. Have a good time at the wedding, looking forward to seeing pictures.
