Day 9 - Taronga Zoo & Harbourside Walk

To-day was to be Graham’s first visit to the Zoo, unfortunately he had to work (animals safe for a bit longer) Bek was not very well so off I went with Adele and Ainsley. The zoo is a fantastic place lots to look at yet spacious, clean and lots of places to rest or have refreshments. Unfortunately we came across a peacock trying to have a fight with his own reflection in a glass door, this frightened Ainsley so after that she decided she didn’t like animals over a certain size. We all had a lovely time though and it was really nice that Ainsley didn’t mind a strange English woman escorting her round with her mum.

Back to base, Adele dropped me off at Crows Nest and I got a few supplies to make the evening meal, well we have to look after the workers and the sick! Bek and I watched a DVD and enjoyed legging out , (a settee each with Chalk not being there).

In the evening, well what else would we do, walk of course! Wednesday night is Girls’night but we allowed Chalk and Frankie (Frankie is such a cute little dog) to join us. Luna Park board walk was the chosen destination and we had a really enjoyable time.
Karen even posed with Frankie with some Chinese for a quick photo shoot. There are just a few Chinese in Australia!!

There is only one way to finish a pleasant day apparently, (Chalk’s choice) Champagne, well it’s quicker than cocoa.

Sorry this is late, (apology for Karen) we are just busy people. I am sleeping like a log and I hope this continues back in England.

Are you all jealous yet???? This isn't a night out it's just a walk from our house!
