Day 10 A.M. - Coogee to Bondi

The Coogee to Bondi Walk - one of Sydney's most famous walks and of course it wasn't to be missed on my itinerary. The walk hugs the coastline teasing you with glimpses of white sand and breaking waves, lots of opportunity to stop and soak it all in and some of the best real estate in Sydney.

Chalk drove to Coogee, I suppose I am lucky we didnt set off walking from home. I liked Coogee it looked a really nice clean place, beach looked lovely, however no time to stop and get the feet wet, these boots were made for walking...

Saw Coogee Backpackers where Kimberly stopped when she came to see Chalk in 2000, it was still in tact and finally dried out after her tearful farewell.

It was quite a walk to Bondi, we stopped for a lunch break at Tamarama, which I have to say was quite scrumptious, we had lamb, with pumpkin, salad and egg plant with mayo in toasted turkish bread, beats Ham and mustard.

After walking forever and passing about 3 beaches lo and behold there was BONDI. It looked lovely, clean, large and quite empty considering it holds about 36,000 on a good day.

Here we had time to chill, legging out on the sand and catching some rays. Graham got his feet wet and walked the length of the beach.

An ice cream before we left and I have to say if some of my friends had seen the young man serving the ice cream, they would soon have a weight problem.

Taxi back to Coogee then home the to prepare for our BIG evening out, goodness we are such social people in demand.
